"0xBTC does not operate its own chain or network. The mining of 0xBTC only affects the supply and is a means-to-an-end to ensure that 0xBTC is a verifiably neutral and decentralized currency with no centralized leader, stakeholder, or team. Since 0xBTC is a smart contract within Ethereum Mainnet, it has the full security of Ethereum Mainnet. In order to double spend or 51% attack 0xBTC transactions, the entire Ethereum Mainnet would have to be double spent and rolled back with a 51% attack. This is completely unrelated to the hashrate or PoW mining power of 0xBTC."
